My mother-in-law has alzheimers and is in need of an adult day program. Her deceased husband was in the navy for four years with an honorable discharge. Are there any programs that would assist paying for this day program under the VA spouse benefits? Her husband died four years ago. We would like to take her to the Adult Day Care Center in Maynardville, TN. Her insurance does not pay for any of the care.Under the VA benefits would they pick up any of the cost. Her cost without help is $50.00 per day. We would like to enroll her for two or three days a week. Any information you can give me would be appreciated.
